SoranshiWoW is a desktop application for World of Warcraft players.
It connects to your WordPress account to securely load your personal WoW data and organize it locally.
The app is currently distributed directly via this website and is not yet code-signed or notarized.
Because of this, macOS and Windows may show a security warning during installation.
This is expected and safe if you downloaded the app from this page.
Because the app is not notarized yet, macOS Gatekeeper will block it on first launch.
Please follow these steps:
Download the DMG file and open it
Drag SoranshiWoW.app into your Applications folder
Do not double-click the app yet
Right-click the app → choose Open → confirm Open
If macOS blocks it:
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security
Click Open Anyway
You only need to do this once per version.
Windows Installation
Download the Setup.exe file
Double-click to start installation
If Windows SmartScreen appears:
Click More info
Choose Run anyway
Complete the installation
Security & Trust
Your Battle.net credentials are never stored in the app
Blizzard API access is handled server-side via WordPress
The app only uses your WordPress login (JWT-based authentication)
All locally stored data is encrypted on your device
Security warnings appear only because the app is currently unsigned — not because it is unsafe.
Code signing and notarization are planned for a future release.
Updates
When a new version is available, the app will notify you and link back to this page.
Updates are installed by downloading and installing the new version.
